Oceanside High

The Executive Board shall consist of the elected officers and the Band Director. The Band Director is an ex-officio member of the board (Advisory role only and has no voting rights). 

Any Associate Member or Friends’ Member of the BOOSTERS, who is in good financial standing with the organization, shall be eligible for positions on the executive board as provided by these bylaws (except as President for Friend Members).

The Executive Board shall consist of the following officers: 

1. President
2. Vice-President – Marching Band 
3. Vice-President – Drumline
4. Vice-President – Color Guard (And Winter Guard)
5. Vice-President – Jazz Band / Orchestra
6. Recording Secretary
7. Treasurer
8. Auditor
9. Director of Ways and Means – General Band
10. Director of Equipment and Maintenance
11. Director of Uniforms
12. Director of Publicity
13. Director of Volunteers

The purpose of the Oceanside High School Instrumental Music Booster Club, hereinafter referred to as the BOOSTERS, shall be to provide support to the students and professional staff of the Oceanside High School instrumental music program, and any auxiliary units associated with the program, hereinafter referred to as the PROGRAM. The BOOSTERS support shall consist of providing operating funds, volunteer services, and organizational coordination as requested by the Band Director.

The BOOSTERS shall provide support to the Instrumental Music Director and all performance groups comprising the Instrumental Music including, but not limited to, the Marching Band, the Color Guard, Winter Guard, Drum Line, Jazz Band(s), and Instrumental Concert Group(s), hereinafter called the Program. In the pursuit of these objectives, the Instrumental Music Boosters will neither seek to direct the administrative activities of the Program or control its policies.
