Oceanside High

The purpose of the Oceanside High School Vocal Music Association, hereinafter referred to as the ASSOCIATION, shall be to provide support to the students and professional staff of the Oceanside High School vocal music program, hereinafter referred to as the PROGRAM.

The ASSOCIATION shall consist of providing operating funds, volunteer services, and organizational coordination as requested by the Vocal Director.

The contribution by the ASSOCIATION of time, goods, services and/or finances to the PROGRAM is intended to augment the PROGRAM, and not to serve as a substitute for the legal financial obligations of the state of California, the County of San Diego or the Oceanside Unified School District to provide for the basic needs of the PROGRAM.

The Executive Board shall consist of the elected officers and the Vocal Director. The Vocal Director is an ex-officio (non-voting) member of the Vocal Music Association Board and Executive Board. The ASSOCIATION can have the option to elect an optional 2nd vice president based on the needs of the organization . These officers shall be elected biennially and shall perform those duties prescribed by these bylaws.

The Executive Board shall consist of the following officers: 

1. President
2. Vice-President 
3. Recording Secretary
4. Treasurer
5. Auditor
