• The Mance Buchanon Library Learning Commons

The mission of the Learning Commons is to provide a welcoming place for students and staff to engage, collaborate, and develop a love of reading, viewing and using information and ideas.

Welcome to the Library!

  • The library is open during nutrition break every day and at both lunches on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Please eat your snack or lunch outside the library before coming in.

Not sure when your books are due? You will find a due date sticker on the inside of the back cover of your library book, or check on Destiny under "My Stuff." Overdue notices are sent out through e-mail, usually at the beginning of each week.

Go on a Destiny Scavenger Hunt! Figuring out how to find books in Destiny is a great way to explore the library even when you aren't here in the building. Complete and submit the Scavenger Hunt and come in for a little prize.

Did you know that your student ID number will enable you to check out books from the Oceanside Public Library?  Also, you can check out the MackinVia app on your Rapid Identity portal. On MackinVia you can find eBooks and audiobooks.
