On December 4, 2020, a federal judge ordered the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to fully restore the original Deferred Action for Childhood Arrival (DACA) program. The Oceanside Unified School District is proud to support individuals and families seeking to take advantage of this renewed opportunity.
The goal of the DACA program is to allow young people - many of whom have lived the majority of their lives in the U.S. - to contribute to their communities without living in fear of being deported.
Educational Support Services (ESS) staff can provide assistance regarding school record requests. Applicants may call (760) 966-7860 to make an appointment to come in to ESS to get a copy of their school attendance verification. For this appointment, requesters will need to bring 2 passport photos, a copy of their birth certificate, and the completed Attendance Verification request form, which may be downloaded from this page.
ESS is located at 2080 Mission Avenue, Oceanside, CA 92058.
