• MANO A MANO / PARENTS LEARNING TO BE BETTER PARENTS WORKSHOP SERIES

OUSD is once again proud to partner with Dr. Beatriz Villarreal and the Mano a Mano Foundation to offer the "Parents Learning to be Better Parents" workshop series.  This workshop is a skills-building program that helps parents, guardians and caregivers face the difficult task of rasing loving and responsible children.  The program is culturally sensitive and specifically focuses on the challenges facing parents today, like drugs, gangs, communication, self-esteem, violence, and discipline.
The program will be offered in eight weekly virtual sessions from 5:30-7:30 pm beginning October 7th and ending on December 16th.  Sessions will be presented in Spanish with English interpretation available.  All parents, guardians and caregivers are invited to attend.
